Volunteer Color Fun Run- September 26th

Join us Harrington Huskies for a fun filled night- concessions, cotton candy, and more! 

Color Fun Run 2024
Thursday, September 26th
Event Time: 5:30-7pm 
 

Your background check must be completed at plano.voly.org before registering for this volunteer opportunity.

Upon arriving for your shift, please make your way to the volunteer table for check-in. The volunteer table will be located in the parking lot behind the cafeteria. 
 
Volunteer Role Descriptions :
 
Set Up Crew: Set up stations prior to event starting
 
Tear Down Crew:Clean up after event; disassemble all stations, throw away trash, etc
 
Concessions: Help sell concessions 
 
Bubble Machine: Refill bubble liquid 
 
Cotton Candy Machine: Help make and package cotton candy
 
Group Leader K-2: Hold signs; lead group to start line 
 
Group Leader 3-5: Hold signs; lead group to start line
 
Event MC: Makes event announcements; script will be provided
 
Powder Station: Hand out and refill powder containers
 
Water Station: Hand out free water to participants 
 
Event Runner: Take empty containers from teachers back to powder table, take re-filled containers from powder table back to teachers
 
Event Photographer: Capture images for yearbook 
 
First Aid Station (Medical Personnel): Access and treat minor issues, make medical decisions if treatment should be provided off-site at medical facility 
 
Color Throwers (Alternative): If not enough teachers are present, alternatives will help to throw color powder on students

PISD Volunteer Application

 

 

Go to Voly to complete your volunteer application. Visit the volunteer website for more information about the approval process.

 

Each year (beginning July 1st), individuals must submit an application in order to volunteer at PISD. Applications take several days to process and all requirements must be approved prior to volunteering.
