Our annual flower sale fundraiser has been canceled this year due to the fact that the company is no longer available. We are sorry for any inconvenience!
Because of this, we need to vote on a budget change at our general meeting at 6:15pm on Thursday, March 28. The changes to the budget would be as follows:
- Income Line item for Flowers Fundraiser: Currently $2500, would change to $0
- Expense Line item for Flowers Fundraiser: Currently $1800, would change to $0.
This is a $700 loss of income, which we feel we can get from the In and Out Burger food truck at the spring picnic. So, the following change to the budget would take care of that.
- Income Line item for Spring Fundraiser: Currently $0, would change to $700.
Each year, the Nominating Committee works tirelessly to fill board positions for Harrington PTA, per our bylaws. The members of the Nominating Committee were voted on by the General PTA Membership at our last meeting. At our next meeting on Thursday, March 28th at 6:15pm, we will vote on this slate of PTA board members for the 2019-2020 school year. Please join us!

Spirit wear is back for a limited time!
We have our classic 18-19 design along with our Field Day/Field Trip shirts available!
Orders must be placed by April 12th.
Please Note: Starting THIS year, PTA has already purchased and delivered to the teachers sets of shirts to be used by students for school events (field trips, field day, etc). Those shirts will stay AT SCHOOL (and be washed, of course) for future events/students. If your child wants to purchase a duplicate grade level shirt to keep at home, this is your chance! Also, visit the spirit wear store if you would like an adult field day shirt of your own!
Spirit wear will be delivered to your student and sent home in their backpack. Please note that the PTA cannot offer refunds on spirit wear as all purchases are made through a 3rd party vendor.

Rain, rain, go away! The Bike Rodeo has been rescheduled. Join us on Saturday, March 30th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM!
Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades are invited to come have fun riding their bikes and to learn about bike safety. Feel free to come and go anytime from 9AM-12PM. Please bring your child's bike (bikes only please), a helmet (required), and a water bottle. Richardson Bike Mart will be there to make sure our kids' bikes are in top shape!
Parents must attend this event with their child(ren), must sign a waiver in order for their child(ren) to participate, and are responsible for watching any younger siblings who might come along to watch.

This has to be done every year, so do it now for the 2018-2019 school year.
