Husky Families! It’s time for the Annual Harrington Staff Cookie Exchange! If you’re new here, this is not your typical cookie exchange. For this exchange, PTA invites students, parents, guardians, and siblings to bake (or buy) one dozen (or two or three!) cookies of the same kind and bring them at drop off on Wednesday, December 17. Our staff will then be able to exchange and take home a fun assortment of treats.
Our hope is that each staff member can walk away with a dozen different cookies, and with 109 staff members this year, we’ll need everyone’s help to make it happen!
Please see the details and sign up in this link: https://tr.ee/p9G0Ns
Thank you for helping to make this annual event fun and festive!
Rent the Rock for Your Student's Special Occasion!
We've got exciting news! A special Davis Elementary tradition, "Rent the Rock" is now being carried on at Harrington! "The Rock" from Davis has been moved to the Harrington property, between two trees, near the Harrington marquee. For $20, families reserve a week-long window and paint the rock to celebrate their students' special occasions.
Please visit the Rent the Rock page for more information, including rental guidelines and the link to reserve your dates.

Register for the Deafinitely Not Different 5K and Fun Run - Benefitting the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf
Deafinitely Not Different 5k and Fun Run is a run/walk that benefits students who attend Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf.
Your participation could...
-help feed a family so that they can attend an Information Fair to learn more about deafness and resources,
-fund a field trip for our preschoolers to pick up new vocabulary from real life experiences,
-provide entry into competitions with kids across the country for our teens,
-buy books for our middle schoolers to use for Battle of the Books,
-and provide extra learning materials for our students and families to use.
These activities are spread out throughout the year. Regardless of when they take place, YOU get to help us create memories that last a lifetime!
Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf provides services for over 500 families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Collin County, Richardson, and Coppell. Help us provide language rich opportunities to our babies all the way up to graduating Seniors!
A shirt is included with registration! Volunteers also get a shirt!
Thank you for supporting us year after year!
Families and staff receive a discount. Contact Definitely Not Different for the coupon code!
You don't actually have to run/walk--you can support by participating "virtually", too!
RACE HAPPENS RAIN OR SHINE.
